[Techtalk] My son is a network hog -- limiting usage on one computer (fedora 15)?

I have a totally awesome router - it's a Buffalo
(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0028ACYEK/ref=oh_o03_s00_i01_details)

It has DD-WRT, and can do QoS, access policies, etc. It was really
worth it, and saves the trouble of adminning a linux box (as much as I
love to do that.)

You could totally throttle your son when you need to, or block URLs, etc.

You can also do some filtering if you want by using OpenDNS - it's a
pretty cool service.

Peace,
Michelle
