avoid anything wich says Texas Instruments Wireless, I've hand very
limited succes in getting them to work on linux, the same card will
work on some machines but not all ;(

also, usb wireless tend to be complicated :)

and nvidia cards are troublesome for suspend-to-disk for now as I
found out today ;(

but otherwise hw support is getting better and better
