Hi

I cannot see how an LCD monitor can exactly fail to be compatible.  If I
were you, I'd be more worried about it being compatible with the graphics
card, and in turn the graphics card being compatible with your Linux
system :)

In general, if the LCD monitor has an SVGA connector on it, you will run
into no problems at all, short of resolution oddnesses.  If it has a DVI
input, then it very much depends on the graphics card and support for
that.
