I've heard people talk about partioning before, but all of the distros I tried
(SuSE, RH 7.2 & 8.0), asked me if I wanted to keep the Windows partition and
then I just accepted the default recommendations during the install and all
has been right with the world. Except now I hardly ever boot to the *dark
side* since I really prefer Linux.
So, I'm curious about the partitioning? Why get PM when Linux does it for you?
What am I missing??
(yeah, a hard-core newbie here, I don't think I'll ever *graduate*)
