Can anyone confirm for me that I'm right about the Mac part of this
note?

| In MacCVS, WinCVS and gCVS, call up the Preferences dialog under the
| Admin menu, and select 'ssh' as the Authentication method under the
| General tab. 

This sets the authentication method for the CVS repository to 'ssh'. I
can test WinCVS and gCVS, but not MacCVS. MacCVS is available at
http://www.cvsgui.org/.
