Thanks Atul for detailing out responses.

This seems then to be an issue based of preference as in "how to change".

Does not seem either time or procedure bound that is affecting any current
activities.

As you and several others have indicated perhaps this is good times to form
an administrative group some kind along with informed guidelines/protocols
on information flow and dissemination - makes it real easy for someone new
joining Indichix. Do a voting for next year?! Elect members, form interest
groups?

Personally, have never had hardships making request and get it handled at
linuxchix.org.in. So having http://in.linuxchix.org (or)
http://india.linuxchix.org separately is only confusing - presenting the two
different organizations, two frontends as Mani indicated.

If domain name is the concern could possibly do 301 redirect (or) do Rewrite
rules in Apache to forward requests to http://in.linuxchix.org (or)
http://india.linuxchix.org permanently to http://linuxchix.org.in - allowing
hosting at it's current location/ flexibility on domain names.

Count me in as "remote" volunteer (still residing in US) incase tasks/
activities align as a result of further discussions.

Thanks,
