You know, throughout my university CS degree, I was happy that I'd done some
work in Pascal.  Turns out that a lot of profs and textbooks use Pascal-like
syntax for pseudocode.

Guess you never know what might be useful. :)  

Or as my best friend is fond of pointing out -- having more knowledge tends
to be a good thing (even if it doesn't seem too useful when you're learning
it!)
