My name is Maureen Thomas.  I am looking forward to learning Python.  I 
have used basic, C and some Cobol.  I picked Python first becaue of the 
name.  My son had a ball python called Apollo and he was a really good 
pet.  No noise, no mess and no odor.  Very tame and seemed to enjoy 
being held and stroked.  I just didn't watch at feeding time.  He was an 
easy pet and from what I've seen Python should be a fairly easy language 
to learn.
