[Announce] The Linux Counter needs your help!

Hi folks,

Hopefully this is the right place to post!

I am a volunteer area manager at The Linux Counter (http://counter.li.org).
In communicating with my fellow area managers, it came to our attention that
while there are many Linux users located in the United States, we don't feel
that the US is being represented statistically correct, because many people
are not aware of us!

If you are using Linux, I highly encourage you to go to the site and
register you and/or your machine(s)!  Your information is also kept
confidential if you prefer not to show your name.

We are currently estimating that 80-90% of Linux users in the United States
are not aware of us.

Do you suppose Linuxchix.org would be interested in adding a link to The
Linux Counter so we can work together in bringing these numbers up?
