I use CentOS on all boxes where I prefer stability over having the latest 
features (e.g. on servers, and on my desktop at home). I often have to 
build a few custom RPMs to update particular software packages, like 
rdiff-backup, but I personally find building RPMs much easier than 
building DEBs.
