I'm pretty sure C's future is assured for some time to come.
If nothing else, many (probably most) of these newer languages are implemented in it!  As are most OS kernels.
I think any apparent decline maybe traced to it having been used for everything for a while.
Now there's more choice, C isn't as over-used as it was, but it's still very good for some things.
