[Techtalk] windoze-only ISPs?

About 5 years ago, QWEST (DSL provider) stopped providing ISP services
and began using MSN. 

When they made the switch we were using macs - we weren't able to
connect to MSN with a mac so we eventually switched to cable. We didn't
have a linux box on site at the time, but I imagine it would have had
it's own difficulties.

I believe they eventually fixed the issue, but we moved over to cable
before it was fixed.
