[Techtalk] fess up, who did an Asterisk installation?

I'm supposed to be writing a howto, but I'm stuck on the hardware. I want to 
do a basic PBX using real phones.  Voicemail, fax, basic security, the usual 
blah blah.

The server part is not bad, but how da heck do you get from your server to the 
outside world? I've gotten all kinds of conflicting garbage from hardware 
vendors. Please I need a real people who knows how to do this. $50 to the 
lucky real people who helps and makes my life happy again.
