Have you considered switching to a different Linux firewall? One that is not
providing a feature limited version to encourage you to upgrade to the paid
for version?
There are quite a few listed at

I have personally used both IPCop (which I think is fully GPL) and Astaro
(which has a free license for home use). Astaro certainly allows you to
block outgoing ports. Not sure about IPCop since its been years since I
tried it, but at least it doesn't have a 'limit the features so you upgrade
to the paid version' agenda, so there is a good chance.
