[Techtalk] PC card modem/non-powered external modem wanted

Hi, Carla,

An el-cheapo brand called Actiontec actually works
well.  It's a real modem (not a WinModem) and it's
dirt cheap.  I have two of them around here which
rarely if ever get used anymore.  I keep them in case
I get sent to a hotel that has neither high speed nor
wireless.
