Alternately, you can rsync whichever/all home  directories, or if you
only want certain things synced you may want to look into Unison
(http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison/) which is  reasonably smart
about such things, and is at least as good as a self-written sync
script  :)
