[Techtalk] kmail hangs

I have the same problem, but with no where near the same frequency.

I know why this happens, its because the new position of the mail is not 
saved until you leave Kmail.  I think that "compact folders" saves 
everything, so using this before you delete spam may help at least with 
that part.
