An interesting one called monotone

more "distributed" than others; treats the project as a whole, including
directories (so you can rename without problems)

Probably a good idea to look at this, because I think there is probably
no one "best" system, but that some systems fit some styles of project
better than others, and you'll need to consider what features you really
need before you choose which system to use.
