It made fun of a dual purpose cleaner for countertops and floors that
was on TV when the original Shimmer commercial spoof was done back in
the '70s.  Bill Murray was the husband.  I *think* Jane Curtain was the
wife.  It was almost word for word the original commercial, but in place
of the two cleaning products it used floor polish and desert topping. 
It was pretty funny if you had seen the original commercial.
