I'm not using a DNS server for my setup that is two computers with a
dial-up internet account. Mine is Mandrake 9.0 and my husband's is
Windows ME. There are two files that I downloaded and set up. I made
sure that my second computer had my ip address set up as the gateway.
Then I added my ip address plus a couple of the ip addresses for my
internet provider from my /etc/resolve.conf file to the wins tab and the
dns tab on my windows computer. Check to make sure that /proc/ip_forward
is set to one. Let me know if your set up is similar to mine and I would
be glad to help you get the windows box set up and send you copies of
the two files.

Kathy
