You don't need to, just type 'raidhotadd /dev/md0 /dev/hdd1' and it will
rebuild it for you, treating it as if it was a new drive just popped into
the system. Just one thing to note - this assumes your original software
raid configuration is still described in /etc/raidtab, if it's not you'll
have to make yourself a new raidtab that says the same as the old one.
