[Techtalk] Mounting an XP-home share with Samba

I'm really hoping this isn't off-topic.

This is got me so confused.  Basically, I would like to be able to mount
some XP shares with my Linux machines but for some reason, I just can't
manage it.  I keep getting a request for a password.  I can't seem to find
a way to set a password on my shares.

If anyone has any ideas how to set up smb shares on XP, I would really
appreciate it.
