[Techtalk] cups problem

How embarrassing!  I solved it - the new filter was appearing under a
new heading "Hewlett-Packard", and not under "HP" like all the rest.
I didn't notice this during several frustrating hours - must have been
very tired.

Mind you, the printer still won't print, so the quest goes on.

Sorry about the stupid question (but questions only become stupid once
you've found the answer).
