[Techtalk] RH8--no gcc??

hi,
i'm not sure about rh8 as i use mandrake, but sometimes there is
confusion with the new binary of gcc being gcc-3.x - you might need to
look at the rpms on your red hat disc and see if they also provided gcc
2.96 - its possible to have both on your system at once, i've been
running mine this way for a while as some older source code doesnt
recognise gcc-3.0 . cc is c compiler.
