Well, if you're being forced to use a microsoft operating system by
management, at least when the bloody thing crashes you don't have to be
got out of bed at 3am to stab the reset button :)

It also has options on what to do when various services crash.  Ranging
from restarting the service to rebooting the whole computer.
Lovely.

Also, the "best" solution to windows servers, ever .... the remote control
power bar :)
now you don't even have to get out of bed to power cycle a dead windows
machine, or you can setup the monitoring system to trigger the boot option
on the power bar when it detects the windows machine has died :)

However, by far and away the best ever solution to a windows server is a
mixture of powdered aluminium and powdered rust.  Sorts them out every
time.
