I am a little disapointed at how difficult it was for me to copy this
thing. As root I cold not figure out how to copy it to the my usr
(non-root) desktop, blocked by permissions. In M.Comander copy did
nothing, same with emacs. Finally after 40 minutes I opened it in
Konquror and found sucess. Gawd knows this can be frustrating.
Details: nvidia vanta "0" PCI 0:1:0 Hooked to old NEC Svga 14" Model
JC1431VMA
600x 800 generic should work
nvida riva TNT2 Model 64 1 PCI 1:0:0 Conected to CTX VL 950 series
1024x768 should work.
Both work at 24 bit color
naturally xinerama is already selected
The CTX is listed in GUI exactly as above the NEC is not listed so
generic 14 at ? is a likely setting.
As it is, it is fairly well screwed-up there are large "black" spaces
between the two monitors/ well between the two working image spaces
right, of the left monitor, and left, of the right monitor. properly
configured this should go away, I hope.
Comming from the Mac this is still hard stuff. For some reason I can't
forget 10 years of Mac using. It gets in my way...as I expect to do
things the old way.
I have a long way to go, It is nice to have help thank you
