[Techtalk] PHP tutorials?

Hi Charlotte,

I started playing with both PHP and Perl when I wanted to start adding
functionality to my websites. I definately found PHP the easier of the two.
I don't have a large experiences with coding and what I do have is mainly
ColdFusion based - so it may just be that I was attracted to what I
personally found as the "easier to read" format that PHP takes.

Anyway I can't give you the technical advantages/disadvantages of either
language, but I guess someone else here can !

If you are interested in PHP, one of the best resources I have found is The
PHP Resource Index at http://php.resourceindex.com/. It has a script
archive as well as documents/tutorials.

Hope that helps.

Rgds,
Clare
