You can :)  The specs of my tiny Libretto 20CTA sub-notebook system, now
running RH 7.2, are:

486DX4-75 processor
16MB RAM
810 MB hard drive
Cirrus Logic CL-GD7548 1MB onboard video
6.1 inch display

Performance is, at the moment, quite poor, but that is with a 2.4.7
kernel.  I intend on upgrading to the 2.4.18-5 kernel currently in the
RH 7.3 errata, which, I hope, will be significantly faster as Telsa
described.
