It's definitely getting better; it's maybe where desktop Linux was 3
years ago or so.  Still, a lot of bad assumptions are being made.
Dealing with wireless networks on Linux at the moment, for example, is
horrible.  It's improving quickly, no doubt, but it has some way to go.
