[Techtalk] My own Linux/Unix book question...

This may sound odd, but what book would anybody recommend as an
introduction for a young one starting out with Linux and/or Unix? My
elder son is only 8, but he's highly intelligent (his reading
frustration level tests at 9th grade or above, meaning that they didn't
test above 9th grade) and desperately wants to learn about this thing
that my boyfriend and I use. Gabriel and I are more than willing to
teach him, but I'd like to give him some background before we start, as
he's a book learner, like me.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Liss
