******Yes this is exactly what I saw and did up until "connection
refused"****

Glen Thanks for the effort, Both user and web "min" show the same
problem (refused) so I believe they are, as reported, working and
sucessfully installed. If you disagree let me know. Nice to know yours
works with high security levels.

I am begining to wonder if RedHat 8+ is less trouble...? probably the
GUI would be less confusing... repeatedly Mandrake GUI administrative
tools simply don't work...
