What a strange result! Were you installing from CD? I didn't know there
were CD drives that could feed data through the bus faster than even a
single ho-hum disk could handle. What kind of CD drive? I want one!
	I liked to run my macro-timings by copying huge files from one
raid partition to another, but that's not how people usually set up for
some reason.
	Booting from a RAID partition is unnecessary, of course. It's a
good idea to have a /boot partition, which is tiny, and hardly need be
RAID.
