hi liz,
thanks, i'll try it...
i've not had success with this before though - would you happen to know why?
what happens is i've got scripts for all of the different display managers in
/etc/X11/gdm/Sessions but some of them, including Gnome, aren't executable...
i chmod them all to 755 but when i reboot i find that gnome, sawfish and
fluxbox (which i installed myself) arent executable... i remember trying this
one before with fluxbox... do you have any idea what might cause this?....
