Unfortunately it requires a Red Hat Network subscription.  If you buy a boxed copy you get one for a limited period of time on a limited number of machines, depending on the edition chosen.  It does cost money, and during nine months of unemployment that simply wasn't an option.

The Mandrake and Debian equivalents are free.
