"Educators plan to set up a Microsoft technology training program at a new
charter school in Gresham...
"Schools pay Microsoft to be part of the program. For $1,500 or $5,000 a
year, depending on the level of involvement, schools get access to software,
online training and early access to new technology. "
Gresham is a stone's throw from Portland, which made national headlines
earlier this year when Microsoft tried to extort gobs of additional license
fees out of them, for product they had already purchased.
