[Techtalk] printer help needed

I don't have a USB printer, so I can't help with that; but I have both
cups and lpr installed and use either one at will.
Have you tried CUPS via http://localhost:631 to setup your printer? It's
pretty easy and works well enough that I rarely see complaints these days.
