First, if you post your lilo.conf, it would give us more information
to help diagnose the problem.

Second, it can sometimes be useful to search the web using the exact
error message.  Searching for: "lilo empty map section" (without the
quotes) gives a few results. Do any of them look useful to you?

Third, does typing NE instead of any really save you that much time?
