[Techtalk] So quiet

Well okay, way to go! Got news for you- you already know more than many
alleged professionals.

I've been training on MS Backoffice 2000. Kinda takes away from my Linux
time. But I administer mixed networks, gotta know both. There are some
features that I would like to see implemented in Linux, a complete graphical
control panel (Management Console in BO) is very nice. Webmin comes close,
and is easily extensible. I use it on all my Linuxes.

Here's a secret in case you've ever wondered: you know how all those snooty
MCSEs act like their effluent don't stink, and they guard the secrets of the
temple? It's all checkboxes and wizards! Which are lovely, and good to have.
But certainly nothing to feel superior about.

I would prefer a control panel that is not Web-based. May be one in the
pipeline somewhere. (No not Linuxconf! ick ick!)
