Are you in the correct subdirectory? In the instruction immediately
before you were asked to
        cd admin/daemontools-0.76
and you are meant to be in the /package directory before that cd.

"pwd" will tell you what directory you are in. Once you are in the right
subdirectory, only then can you run "package/install" because
"package/install" means "run the file called install in the directory
package under the present directory."

Does the package subdirectory exist, and if so, what's in it?
