one more note .. it's a dell system .. and dell has this nice little
program called 'zztop' if anyone has ever heard of or used it.  well, most
(if not all) new dell systems actually have a "recovery" partition hidden
on their install.  typing 'zztop' at the dos prompt will let you restore
that drive from the hidden partition.  kinda crazy eh?
