[techtalk] bad display name in "add" command

Try this command to trace exactly what cvs is doing, it might give you
some additional info:

 cvs -t update

|It happens when updating a cvs module on from my linux client to a linux
|cvs server, but it seems to be X related. The error does not occur with
|updates from my other user on the client box.
