[techtalk] Installation Prob

Hi guys! I'm new here to this list...so I hope this doensn't seem like a 
dumb question.  :-)

While trying to install Mandrake 8.0 on a Windows 98 machine, I got the 
following error during the installation:

"swapon(/mnt/mnt/windows/lnx4win/swapfile) failed: device or resource busy"

It wouldn't go any further and just kept reverting back to the screen to 
choose partition size.  I eventually had to cold reboot the machine, as I 
could not get out of the installation screen.

Any suggestions as to what this is and how to correct it?
