Hi,

You can edit ~/.ncftp/prefs.v2 to 1 (default is 0) or, in ncftp prompt,
type 'set ftp-mode 1' to use passive mode in ncftp (version 2). I am
using older version (2.0.x), so filename and/or option name may
different from yours.
