[techtalk] LI error and getting back into Linux....

I have gone through this problem so many times, it ain't funny. I think
the reason you got is somehow the kernel got corrupted. The only soluiton
that has worked for me is to boot up, and put the boot disk in there, but
actually reinstall Mandrake (or use the upgrade option) but without
actually selecting anything but the kernel. That usually kicks the OS back
into gear and it behaves.
