OK you've got your DNS numbers but network is unreachable. Sounds like
pppd is not setting your default route. While the link is up try route -n
and see if the last line has destination 0.0.0.0 which would be your
default gateway. Often this should be set to the remote IP address of your
PPP link. kppp has this option in the Gateway page, make sure "Assign the
Default Route to this Gateway" is ticked.
