[prog] a newbie on the list

Greetings to the list.  My name is Patricia and I am a software developer.
I have been doing this for more than 15 years and I still love going to work
every morning.  I am writing this note in Firefox on my Mandriva linux
system at work.

At work I develop software to help people analyze and extract information
from various kinds of remotely-sensed images.

I hope to enjoy this list.
