About Callisto:
Callisto is a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization that creates
technology to combat sexual assault, empower survivors, and advance
justice. Specifically, we create websites that make it easier for sexual
assault survivors to report and name their assailant and enable the
detection of repeat sexual offenders. We also connect survivors to
attorneys who advise them on their options to seek justice. We are funded
by earned revenue from partner institutions and by philanthropic
supporters, including Google.org, Y Combinator

About the Position:
As the Full Stack Software Engineer at Callisto, you will join a
fast-paced, collaborative, multidisciplinary team that uses tech to solve
complex problems in the social justice, data security, and legal space. You
will own a product that has already had an impact—Callisto Campus

continue that impact.
To achieve our mission, you will be involved in all stages of product
ownership and the development and deployment lifecycle: ideation, UX,
shipping, and iteration. Some people may call you a generalist; you have a
background in full stack product ownership with production-grade software.
You know how to work within complex developer teams and maintain excellent
Git hygiene. The end-user is the center of your work and you’re excited to
use your data analytics skills to measure impact and usage of our product.
You’re inspired by a challenge and ready to take your career to the next
level.
While you will be the sole product leader for Callisto Campus, you will
work closely with the Product Team and will initially report directly to
the CTO. You will participate in daily stand-ups, managing projects, and
setting goals that align with our Product Roadmap. Over time, you will
develop a strong understanding of the sexual assault and coercion space,
with a focus on user privacy and security.
We are excited to continue the impact of our Callisto Campus product. We
hope you are as excited to learn new things while working in the
tech-for-good space.
