Warby Parker is on the lookout for a Senior Product Manager to own our
bespoke enterprise resource planning (ERP) software that powers our company
day in and day out. In this position, you’ll be responsible for creating
world-class applications to support a range of functions, from supply chain
and retail operations to insurance processing and customer experience. This
highly collaborative role requires you to communicate regularly with
business leaders and external partners, so that you can translate business
needs and long-term strategy into the most effective product roadmaps.
Overall, you’ll help create beautiful, seamlessly integrated experiences
across our website, apps, and brick-and-mortar stores. Sound cool? Read on!

*What you’ll do:*

   - Manage Warby Parker’s key business system (an ERP we call Springfield)
   - Manage at least two other Product Managers
   - Create product roadmaps based on our business objectives and metrics,
then communicate your work broadly across the organization
   - Collaborate with department heads, individual contributors, subject
matter experts, internal engineering teams, and external partners
   - Decide what we can build internally and what we can purchase off the
   shelf; drive our vendor selection
   - Mentor and coach other Product Managers, exemplifying what great
   leadership looks like
   - Identify, prioritize, and oversee back-office optimizations from
   ideation to delivery
   - Manage cross-functional projects while working proactively,
   thoughtfully, and deliberately
   - Demonstrate great charisma and a desire to help others
   - Optimize our interactions with external vendor systems
   - Generate ideas and strategies based on your understanding of current
   and future problems
   - Attend key meetings, including management off-sites, and interact with
executives and department heads to discuss ideas in real time (e.g.,
   roadmaps, risks, and work dependencies)

*Who you are:*

   - Backed by 8+ years of experience developing, defining, and growing
multiple business systems (e.g., CRM, CMS, insurance, supply chain,
merchandising), product lifecycle management systems, PO management
   systems, and/or ERP-related modules
   - A seasoned product manager who stands by an iterative, agile approach
   - An excellent communicator with strong presentation and collaboration
   skills
   - An empathetic team player who’s comfortable being either a leader or a
contributor on a variety of projects
   - Confident without an ego
   - An analytical thinker and decision-maker

*Extra credit:*

   - A working knowledge of health insurance claims processing,
   clearinghouses, and EDI
   - Experience with retail/eCommerce logistics, warehouses, or
   manufacturing
   - Employment at a company that has a significant consumer-facing
   element, like eCommerce

*About us:*

Warby Parker was founded in 2010 with a lofty objective: to offer designer
eyewear at a revolutionary price while leading the way for socially
conscious businesses. By circumventing traditional channels and designing
our frames in house, we’re able to offer insanely high-quality eyewear at
decidedly non-insane prices (i.e., from $95 with prescription lenses—a
fraction of the going price!).

In the last eight years, we’ve grown to over 60 retail locations in the
U.S. and Canada, opened our first optical lab in upstate New York, and
launched two of our own iOS apps. And for three years running, *Fast
Company* has named us one of the world’s most innovative companies.

We also hold ourselves to the highest standards of social and environmental
responsibility. This means lots of different things, like operating
carbon-neutrally and distributing a pair of glasses to someone in need for
every pair we sell. (We’re big believers that businesses can scale and be
profitable while doing good in the world.)

Of course, all work and no play makes an extremely dull office, and no one
likes an extremely dull office. (We sure don’t.) As an employee at Warby
Parker, you can look forward to company outings, guest speakers,
volunteering opportunities, and other brain- (and/or taste-bud-)
stimulating activities. It also doesn’t hurt that our team is just great
company.

*Some benefits and perks of working at Warby Parker:*

   - Health, vision, and dental insurance
   - Flexible “My Time” vacation policy
   - Retirement savings plan with a company match
   - Parental leave (non-birthing parents included)
   - Cell phone plan reimbursement
   - A health-and-wellness stipend
   - Free eyewear (plus discounts for friends and family)
   - And more (just ask!)
