Clearance: DoD Secret clearance required, Top Secret preferred

Description:
The Systems Administrator shall support all system administration tasks for
Unix/Linux servers including: installation, configuration, patching,
securing and maintenance of the servers and associated peripheral devices.
Responsibilities include user account management and integration with LDAP
and Microsoft Active Directory; system backups and restores; network and
storage configuration; server virtualization using VMware; performance
optimization including load balancing and capacity management; system
troubleshooting and diagnostics; and system performance and security
monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications:
o Recent hands-on system administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise
Linux and Solaris operating systems
o 3+ years supporting developers, administering apps, etc.
o 3+ years of Windows/Unix/OS X Administration, server patching, system
configuration of COTS products

Desired Skills:
o Experience with server clustering
o Ability to monitor support tickets - updating ticketing,
triaging/diagnosing and contacting users with status
o Experience with System configuration -Security Configuration and Analysis
console, information security templates, device control
o Experience with installing and configuring Apache Web Server, Tomcat
Application Server, and MySQL database server a plus
o Experience following DoD STIGs and utilizing DoD security tools

System documentation - System requirements

Education Requirements:
o Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Engineering/Science, Mathematics or related technical field preferred

Certification Requirements:
o Security + and one other IT related training certificate or certification
preferred, not required
