deep understanding of Linux who is passionate about informing people of
best practices and helping others learn.

Our community ranges across a variety of outlets, from the DigitalOcean
knowledgebase to our social media outlets. We are seeking an enthusiastic
community manager to engage with the community across all platforms.

What you will be doing:
• Responding to article comments and questions in the DigitalOcean community
• Providing additional technical expertise to various marketing initiatives
• Working closely with other community staff to address community issues as
they may arise
• Engaging with social media questions and comments on Twitter, Facebook
and Google+

Requirements:
• Experience with Linux system administration
• Development experience especially in Ruby, Rails, Python, Django, or
Node.js
• Strong communication skills

Technologies you will encounter:
• Linux: Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora, Debian, Arch
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, NoSQL
• Web Servers: Apache, Nginx
• Languages and Frameworks: Ruby, Rails, Python, Django, or Node.js
